Founded in the spirit of independent and collaborative creation, TOGETHER: Words+Pictures for Art & Culture develops and produces animated content for the arts, cultural, and non-profit communities. We are happy writing, designing, and animating content for documentaries and films, theatrical stage visuals, art exhibit promos, and book trailers.

PazitPazit Cahlon

Pazit Cahlon is a writer and producer living in Toronto. She holds a Bachelors in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson Polytechnic University and has over six years’ experience in live-action and animated children’s television. Her positions ranged from puppet-building to screenwriting to production coordinating on series such as Radical Sheep’s Panda Bear Daycare (YTV) and Cuppa Coffee Animation’s JoJo’s Circus (ABC Family).

In 2006 she changed direction and began to study the craft of fiction writing. In 2009 she received the Eloise Klein Healey scholarship to study at Antioch University Los Angeles, and earned her MFA in Creative Writing in June 2011. Apart from being the word-nerd part of TOGETHER, she is also writing a collection of short stories.

 

Hector HerreraHector

With over 12 years experience in broadcast design, Hector has created work for a diverse range of clients that include Cartoon Network, SpikeTV, BBC, CTV and David Cronenberg, as well as advertising agencies such as JWT, Ogilvy and FCB. His work has been showcased in several design publications such as Stash, Design In Motion, Applied Arts and Boards magazine and has garnered several BDA gold, silver and bronze awards.

Hector is also an instructor in the Illustration program at the Ontario College Of Art and Design where he teaches digital mixed media illustration techniques and Illustrated Activism.  He also teaches and developed the syllabus for the new Animated Illustration course.

NickNick Sewell

Nick Sewell is a Toronto-based designer and creative director. Working in broadcast design since 1999, Nick has created work for clients including MTVCartoon Network,Comedy CentralSports CenterPBS, and CTV.

His film work includes title design for David Cronenberg’s SpiderIrvine Welsh’s Ecstasy, William Shatner’s The Captains and Fight Like Soliders, Die Like Children.

His work has appeared in numerous graphics and post-production publications such as StashDesign In MotionApplied Arts AnnualM21 and Boards magazine. His work has also earned acclaim internationally, including over 16 Broadcast Design Awards.
